Spirit Dominate Play, Down Courage 2-1
Trinity Rodman wasted no time Saturday afternoon, intercepting a pass and scoring a goal just six minutes into the game to give the Washington Spirit an early 1-0 lead over NC Courage. It was Rodman’s second goal of the young season and her 12th career goal. Ashley Hatch added a goal in at the 50′ mark and the Spirit held on to defeat the Courage 2-1 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.
