Nationals Drop Series Finale to Unbeaten Rays 7-2
The Washington Nationals ran into a steamroller Wednesday afternoon, as they fell to the unbeaten Tampa Bay Rays 7-2 at Nationals Park.
The win marked the Rays sixth consecutive victory to begin the season.
Patrick Corbin (0-2) took the loss for the Nationals, giving up six runs on 10 hits over six innings.
Rays starter Shane McClanahan gave up two runs on five hits over six innings to get the victory.
