Nationals Give Up Five Runs in the Ninth Inning, Lose to Rays 10-6

The Washington Nationals took a 6-5 lead into the ninth inning on Tuesday evening, but couldn’t hold on, as they fell to the undefeated Tampa Bay Rays 10-6 at Nats Park.

Luke Raley led off the top of the ninth with a home run off of Nats closer Kyle Finnegan to tie the game. The next batter Josh Lowe followed up with a homer of his own to put the Rays for good.
