Spirit and Louisville Play to 2-2 Draw
Coming off their season opening home win last Sunday, the Washington Spirit were looking to go to 2-0 as they travelled to Louisville to take on the tough Racing FC. The Spirit played a hard-fought match and took a 2-0 lead into the half with goals by Ashley Hatch – the first at the 16 minute mark and the second at the 32 minute mark. The first Hatch goal was assisted by Paige Metayer while the second was assisted by Trinity Rodman.
