Oduro’s 19 Points Leads George Mason Past Towson 70-65
Sophomore Josh Oduro’s career-best 19 points led the George Mason men’s basketball team past visiting Towson University 70-65 Wednesday afternoon at EagleBank Arena.
In addition to his 19 points, the Paul VI alum pulled down eight rebounds in his 28 minutes of play for the Patriots.
The win was the third straight for the Green and Gold as they raised their record to 4-1 on the young season with one non-conference game left to play before embarking on the A-10 schedule.
It wasn’t a great shooting night overall for the Patriots, as they shot just 38,5% from the floor. Besides Oduor, two others were in double figures for the Patriots as senior Javon Greene went for 13 and junior Jamal Hartwell II contributed 12.
