The George Mason men’s basketball is set to kick-off the 2020-2021 season on Thanksgiving Day as they take on Northeastern in the DC Paradise Jam at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. In addition to Northeastern, the Patriots will also take on Belmont and Howard in the round-robin format.
In the Thanksgiving Day matchup, Mason faces off against former conference rival Northeastern – a team which reached the CAA championship game a year ago.
Mason then will faceoff against a tough Belmont team on Friday. Belmont is coming off a 26 win season a year ago, capturing the OVC Tournament title.
Mason finishes up the Paradise Jam Tournament with a battle against Howard, who added 5-star freshman Makur Maker this off season.
George Mason last played in the Paradise Jam during the 2011-2012 season.
