Morant’s Triple-Double Leads Grizzlies Over Wizards 106-99
Ja Morant’s first career triple-double led the visiting Memphis Grizzlies to a 106-99 victory Sunday evening over the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena.
Morant poured in 27 points along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
The game was a tight affair throughout until the fourth quarter when Morant and the Grizzlies went to town, going on a late 10-1 run and closed it out.
In that fateful fourth quarter the Wizards were 4 for 25 from the field.
The loss drops the Wizards to 18-33 on the season, putting them in eighth place in the Eastern Conference.,
