In Tight Affair, PVI Downs St. John’s in WCAC Matchup 66-61
Paul VI didn’t start the game they had hoped on Sunday evening, in a highly anticipated matchup with St. John’s College High School. Their shots weren’t falling and they found themselves behind 10-0 before they knew what hit them. Head Coach Glenn Farello took a timeout to settle his team down and from that point on PVI used their relentless offensive attack coupled with their punishing defense to lead them to a 66-61 road victory in front of a packed house.
Jeremy Roach led the way for PVI with 27 points, followed by Doug McDaniel with 15 and Trevor Keels with 13. Ishmael Leggett led the way with St. John’s with 25 points.
