Timely shooting led the Bishop Ireton boys basketball team to victory on Saturday afternoon, as the downed visiting Edison High School 81-72 at Godley Gymnasium.

The game was a make-up game from the previous week, which was cancelled due to weather.

The win lifts the Cardinals to 9-11 on the season.
