Led By Greene’s 32 Points, George Mason Downs UMass in Atlantic 10 Matchup
Led by Javon Greene’s 32 points the George Mason Patriots downed visiting UMass 73-63 on Wednesday night at EagleBank Arena.
Greene, who coming into the game was averaging 14.8 points per game, exploded offensively and was the driving force all night for the Patriots.
Freshman and PVI grad Josh Oduro scored a career-high 11 points and pulled down 4 rebounds for the Patriots while Xavier Johnson added 11 points, five rebounds and three assists of his own.
The victory lifts Mason to 13-6 overall and 2-4 in the Atlantic 10 conference.
