WCAC Teams Shine in Basketball Hall of Fame Hoophall Classic
Teams from the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) shone brightly this weekend at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Hoophall Classic in Springfield, MA as DeMatha, Paul VI and Bishop O’Connell all came away with impressive victories against top-flight competition.
Then Bishop O’Connell started the day and the WCAC run by defeating powerhouse Mater Dei 73-72.
DeMatha then followed up with a 72-65 win over Rancho Christian School. Rancho Christian features the top high school prospect in Evan Mobley.
With LeBron James sitting courtside, Paul VI followed that up with a 70-62 victory over Sierra Canyon School. Sierra Canyon, of course, features Bronny James and Zaire Wade among other top players.
