Greene scores 39, but Mason Falls to Richmond 97-87

Despite a game-high 39 points from Jacob Greene, the George Mason Patriots fell to the visiting Richmond Spiders 97-87 at EagleBank Arena. Greene’s 39 points marked a career-high for the junior guard, and it came on 15-22 shooting from the floor and 5-10 from three-point range. The number also set the record for most points scored at EagleBank Arena.

Led by Nick Sherod and Grant Golden led the way for Richmond with 25 points followed by Jacob Gilyard who put in 20 and Nick Sherod who contributed 19.
