DeMatha Downs Gonzaga 70-67 in WCAC Matchup

DeMatha marched into the Carmody Center in the campus of Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C. on Monday evening for a highly anticipated WCAC matchup between two national basketball powerhouses and came away with a hard fought 70-67 victory.

DeMatha was behind for much of the game but came storming back in the 4th quarter to take the lead and hold on. The victory lifts the Stags to 8-2 (3-0) on the season while the loss drops Gonzaga to 11-5 (4-2).
