U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team Roster Announced

The U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team roster and schedule was announced today. The team will play three matches in the 2019 Nordic Tournament which runs from August 28th thru September 2nd.

The U.S. roster features 21 professional players, 16 of which are from the NWSL and five who are playing in Europe. The roster is rounded out with two of the top college players in the country – defender Emily Fox from North Carolina and forward Sophia Smith from Stanford.

The U.S. squad will face Norway on August 28th, England on August 30th and Sweden on September 2nd. All three matches will take place at Loughborough University in Loughborough, England.
