Elena Delle Donne led the charge once again, scoring 21 points and pulling down 10 rebounds as the visiting Washington Mystics rolled past the Atlanta Dream 89-73 on Sunday afternoon in front of over 4,100 at State Farm Arena.
Also scoring in double figures for the Mystics was Kristi Toliver and Tianna Hawkins who added 18 points each.
The victory was the third in a row for the Mystics and brings them to 7-3 on the season, good enough for second place behind only league leading Connecticut.
The game was a close affair in the first-half with Atlanta going into halftime leading 45-42. However, the Mystics went on a 14-0 run at the start of the second half and put the game out of reach for the Dream.
Tiffany Hayes led the Dream with 18 points. The loss drops the Dream to 2-7 on the season and keeps them in last place in the league.
