NYCFC, D.C. United Set For U.S. Open Cup Matchup

NYCFC and D.C. United are set to meet in a round-of-16 matchup of the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday evening at Audi Field.

With their win against North Carolina FC on June 12th, NYCFC advanced to the fifth-round of the tournament for the first time. D.C. United beat the Philadelphia Union to advance.

The teams are meeting for the third time this season. The teams played to a scoreless tie in March and NYCFC beat D.C. United 2-0 at Audi Field in April.
