D.C. United, Chicago Fire Play to 3-3 Draw
Francisco Calvo picked an opportune time to score his first goal of the season, as he put one in the back of the net two minutes into second-half stoppage time to lift the visiting Chicago Fire to a 3-3 draw with D.C. United on Wednesday evening at Audi Field
Calvo’s goal helped rescue the Fire after they blew a 2-0 first half lead and allowed three consecutive goals by D.C. United to fall behind 3-2 late in the second half.
Leading the way for D.C. United were Ulises Segura, who scored his first career brace and keeper Bill Hamid made eight saves on the night.
The draw enables D.C. United to remain in first place in the Eastern Conference (7-4-5 26 points).
