USWNT Defeats Mexico 3-0 in Final World Cup Tuneup

In its final preparation game before the World Cup starts next month, the U.S. women’s national team beat Mexico 3-0 on Sunday in front of over 26,000 fans at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. The U.S. Women’s National Team easily defeated Mexico 3-0 on a hot and humid day.

Tobin Heath kicked off the scoring for the U.S. squad with a goal in the 11th minute. It was Heath’s 30th international goal in her 150th game. Reserves Mallory Pugh and Christen Press added second half goals to cement the U.S. victory.
