A recap of the three games played in the MLS on Friday night, May 24th. LAFC vs. Montreal Impact, Orlando City vs. LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake vs. Atlanta United
LAFC vs. Montreal Impact
The Los Angeles Football Club completely overwhelmed the visiting Montreal Impact on Friday night scoring the games first four goals en route to a 4-2 victory before 22,000 fans at Banc of California stadium.
The win extends LAFC’s unbeaten streak to seven games and also keeps them unbeaten at home (7-0-1). The victory also keeps LAFC comfortably in first place in the MLS Western Conference with 34 points, 8 points ahead of second place Seattle Sounders FC.
It was all bad for Montreal, who have just one victory in their last five matches (1-3-1). However they remain in third place in the MLS Eastern Conference with a 6-3-6 record and 21 points, 3 points behind leading Philadelphia Union.

Orlando City FC vs. LA Galaxy
An early goal by Jonathan Dos Santos in the 19th minute was all the Los Angeles Galaxy needed to defeat Orlando City on Friday and in the process snap a four-game losing streak.
The Galaxy improved their record to 8-5-1 and 25 points, good enough for third place in the MLS Western Conference, 9 points behind division leader and cross-town rival LAFC.
The Galaxy were without star Zlatan Ibrahimovic once again who was sitting out the last of his two game suspension.

Real Salt Lake vs. Atlanta United
Jefferson Savarino’s second goal of the season, a long blast in the 94th minute, gave Real Salt Lake a 2-1 victory over visiting Atlanta United on Friday night in front of 17,000 at Rio Tinto Stadium.
The victory brought RSL to 6-6-1 on the season and 19 points, above the playoff line in 5th place in the MLS Western Conference. The loss dropped MLS defending champions Atlant to 6-5-2 on the season. Their 20 points puts them in 4th place in the Eastern Conference, 4 points behind conference leading Philadelphia.
