WNBA Season Kicks Off Tonight

The 2019 WNBA season kicks off tonight at 7:30PM as the visiting Dallas Wings take on the Atlanta Dream at State Farm Arena.

The Dream are coming into the game off a season in which they went 23-11, setting a club record for wins in a season, and finished atop the Eastern Conference. They come into the 2019 season returning a substantial part of their roster and should once again be a force in the league.

Dallas, on the other hand, just barely eked into the playoffs last year with their 15-19 record, before losing in the first-round. This year they have a new coach (Brian Agler) but they start the year without star guard Skylar Diggins, who just gave birth to her first child and Liz Cambage who was traded to Las Vegas.

Should be a compelling game to kick off the 2019 WNBA season.
