Washington Mystics star Elena Delle Donne will miss the season opener for the team’s game against the Connecticut Sun due to knee soreness.

More bad WNBA injury news: Elena Delle Donne won't even travel with the Mystics to Connecticut for their opener tomorrow night, she's still battling knee soreness.

Luckily, the Mystics have a full week until their second game, in DC on June 1.
