MLS: Seattle Downs Orlando 2-1
Raul Ruidaz and Handwalla Bwana tallied goals on Wednesday night leading the Seattle Sounders to a 2-1 victory over visiting Orlando City SC at CenturyLink Field. The victory extended Seattle’s unbeaten streak to five matches and moved them into second place in the Western Conference with 25 points. Seattle has not lost a home game this season.
The loss marks the third loss in a row for Orlando City and drops them to 3-6-3 on the season. Their 12 points puts them at 10th place in the Eastern Conference. On the plus side for Orlando City, Chris Mueller’s goal in the 75th minute snapped their scoreless streak at 327 minutes.
