MLS: Dynamo and Timbers Play to 1-1- Draw
Striker Brian Fernandez’ 77th-minute goal lifted the Portland Timbers to a 1-1 draw against the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night.
Fernandez was making his MLS debut after being acquired from Mexican side Necaxa last week.
New Portland Timbers signee Brian Fernandez scored after making his MLS debut as a second-half substitute, lifting his new team to a 1-1 draw against the host Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night.
Houston’s lone goal was scored by Mauro Manotas in the 40th minute.
The draw brings Houston to 6-2-2 with 20 points on the season, 4th in the Western Conference. Portland moves to 3-6-2 and 11 points, 10th in the Western Conference
