NWSL: Kerr Player of the Week
Chicago Red Stars forward Sam Kerr has been named the Week 5 NWSL Player of the Week by the NWSL Media Association.
Kerr scored twice and had an assist in Chicago’s 3-1 win over the North Carolina Courage on Saturday.
It’s the eighth time that Kerr has won Player of the Week in her career, which ties her with Crystal Dunn for the most in league history.
