Revolution Down Quakes 3-1

Led by interim coach Mike Lapper, the New England Revolution snapped a four game winless streak, defeating the San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 at Gillette Stadium. Just days after firing head coach Brad Friedel, the Revolution played like they had something to prove, scoring the game’s first three games and then holding on for the winm putting a stop to San Jose’s four game unbeaten streak.
