NWSL: Thorns Down Pride 3-1

Portland Thorns FC beat the Orlando Pride 3-1 Saturday night in front of 4,300 at Orlando City stadium. The victory keeps the Thorns unbeaten, standing at 2-0-2 with 8 points on the season. Meanwhile the loss drops The Pride to 0-5-1 on the season. The defeat could have been worse but Pride goalkeeper made back-to-back saves on a penalty kick in the second half.
