NWSL: Spirt Get By SkyBlue 3-2

Led by Cheyna Matthews’s first two goals of the season, the Washington Spirit slipped past SkyBlue FC 3-2 at Yurcak Field on Saturday afternoon. Also scoring for the Spirit was rookie Jordan DiBiasi, who tallied her first professional goal in the game.

The win moved the Spirit to 2-1-1 on the season, moving them into 5th place with 7 points.

The SkyBlue FC goals came from Raquel Rodriguez and Imani Dorsey
