Kompany Goal Lifts Man City
The tension was high inside the Etihad as the critical game for Manchester City was deep into the second half and still a scoreless tie. Then in the 69th minute Man City captain Vincent Kompany took matters into his own hands firing the ball into the back of the net from 30 yards out to lift City to a 1-0 victory over visiting Leicester City. The victory put City back on top of the Premier League standings and in position to take the league title for the second year in a row.
